The Wall Street Journal has posted an interesting interview with John Biaggi, director of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival being held in New York City June 16-30. I’d never heard of of this event before, but the more I read about it, the more I like it.
Tricky, complicated questions of morality and social justice often don’t make for a summer blockbuster. The Human Rights Watch Film Festival takes those tangled themes and strings them together in a week of screenings, conversations and talk backs.
Enjoy your weekend!
